Castro Valley Forum Editor Michael Singer (right) moderated a debate between the two candidates for State Assembly District 20: Liz Ortega (center) and Shawn Kumagai (left). The debate, sponsored by the Castro Valley & Eden Area Chamber of Commerce, allowed each candidate a chance to share with voters their perspectives on improving Castro Valley and beyond. Topics covered included affordable housing, homelessness, mental health services, and being able to best represent CV in Sacramento.
