Alameda County Veterans Art Partnership Exhibition

Celebrate the Alameda County Veterans whose works of art are on display in the Hayward Downtown Library, November 2, 2023 – January 6, 2024. 

The art exhibition showcases 55 artworks by Veterans from the Alameda County Veterans Art Partnership, coordinated by the Alameda County Arts Commission in partnership with the Oakland Vet Center, which serves veterans throughout the County and seven veterans HAC members to display their artworks. 

Special Guests at the artists' reception on Monday, November 6 from 2-4pm are Alameda County District 2 Supervisor Elisa Márquez, Alameda County Auditor-Controller/Clerk-Recorder Melissa Wilk, Alameda County Arts Commission Director Rachel Osajima, Oakland Vet Center Staff and Mayor of Hayward Mark Salinas and council members.

This exhibition is a collaboration with Alameda County Arts Commission, Hayward Arts Council, Hayward Library and Oakland Vet Center. 

Winda I. Shimizu is Executive Director of Hayward Arts Council and art commissioner for the Alameda County Arts Commission.
