New Beer Honors CV’s Cliff Burton

He has a celebration day. He has an action figure, and now Castro Valley native and legendary Metallica bassist Cliff Burton is being honored with a special edition beer called “Cliff Em’ All IPA.” This IPA (India Pale Ale) brew is made possible through a collaboration between the Cliff Burton Estate, San Francisco-based KnuckleBonz, and Walnut Creek's Calicraft Brewing. The beer is rated at 6.4% ABV (alcohol by volume) and is described as a Northern California style IPA that is made with Simcoe and Citra hops, and according to the brewmaster, "pairs well with all forms of incredible music!" Calicraft has produced other music-related beers including ones that celebrate AC/DC, Pantera, and The Misfits. The brewery is currently taking pre-orders for Burton's beer. Orders come in 8-Packs (2x 4-Packs) or as a 12-Pack, or 24-Pack Case. As a special promotion, KnuckleBonz has created 500 limited edition Cliff Burton Cliff Em' All posters for this occasion. As of this press, there were about 300 still available. Visit knucklebonz.com for more information.
