Nice Shot!

It appears that one of the water polo players has "lost his head" about the sport. Not so. His opponent just shot the ball, which continued on to score a goal. The player who shot the ball is a former Castro Valley High player, Nathan Arakawa, who is now playing for West Valley College; one of the best two-year water polo teams in the state.

Nathan is the Viking's sprinter on the team, which means he’s the swimmer who races for the ball at the start of each quarter.  He also scores and is an excellent defender and passer. Nathan and the WVC Men’s Water Polo Team will be at the Northern California League Water Polo Championships, held at Los Positas College on November 2,3, and 4.
