RCS Names Phil Carlton Chairman of the Board

At the October 23, Redwood Christian Schools 54th Annual Dinner, Harry Bruno, Board Chair since 2008, passed the baton of leadership to Phil Carlton. Carlton becomes only the fifth Board Chair in the school’s history. In addition, Charles Marin and Christine Vega were announced as the newest members of the Redwood Christian Schools School Board joining Bruno, Cathy Breslow, April Nunez, Rayford Reed and Steve Swanson. Both Marin and Vega have two children attending RCS.
Dr. Al Hearne, Superintendent of Redwood Christian Schools, stated that the addition of Marin, a Chief Financial Officer, and Vega, a data infrastructure and analytics consultant, “will further strengthen the Board with their gifts and talents, and their commitment to providing a Christ-centered education in central to raising their children. We are blessed by the commitment of all of our Board members.”
