Aaron Gallagher, from Castro Valley Scout Troop 726, achieved the Eagle Scout rank on February 17th, 2021. For his Eagle project, Aaron and other members of Troop 726 Planted 8 Swan Hill olive trees, installed an irrigation system for the new trees, and constructed a concrete pad to connect the church walkway to the parking lot at Faith Lutheran Church in Castro Valley. The project was completed in 302 service hours with the work of 34 scouting volunteers. These trees will provide shade and beauty to the church campus for decades to come. Aaron is currently a senior at Castro Valley High School and will be attending Ohlone College to earn a transfer degree.
