Violated Restraining Order Twice in a Week

Sunday, February 9: At 9:56 p.m., Sheriff's deputies arrested a 62-year-old Castro Valley man on suspicion of violating a restraining order. The man was found within 100 feet of a storage facility on Castro Valley Boulevard near Marshall Street, which he was ordered to stay away from. Deputies responded to a suspicious person's report and found the man. The man was arrested three days earlier for the same offense at the same address. He was taken into custody.

 

Two Arrests in Home Invasion Robbery

Friday, February 7: At 7:20 p.m., two men were arrested concerning a home invasion robbery at a residence on Seven Hills Road and Lake Chabot Road. Deputies responded to a call about an altercation at the house. A 38-year-old man at the scene was charged with robbery, battery, and violating a restraining order. His partner, a 36-year-old man, was additionally charged with false imprisonment. Deputies took the men to Santa Rita Jail. The victims were treated at the scene.

 

Vandalism and Drug Possession

Friday, February 7: At 3:23 p.m., deputies arrested a 33-year-old man from Castro Valley on suspicion of vandalism of private property and possessing methamphetamine drugs and related drug paraphernalia. The man was spotted damaging the property on Shamrock Way near Spruce Street. Deputies found the drugs in his pocket and took the man into custody.

 

Flasher Arrested

Friday, February 7: At 9:25 a.m., a 43-year-old man with no permanent residence was arrested on suspicion of exposing himself in public. Deputies were called to a coffee house on Redwood Road near Castro Valley Boulevard after patrons complained to the manager about the man. The man was handcuffed and taken into custody.

 

Altercation Lands Two in Jail

Thursday, February 6: At 10:50 a.m., deputies arrested two women from Castro Valley on suspicion of fighting in public and damaging private property. A 53-year-old woman was charged with vandalism, and a 24-year-old who confronted the older woman was charged with fighting. Deputies took both women into custody.

 

Refused to Leave a Property

Monday, February 3: At 6:35 a.m., a 55-year-old man without a permanent residence was arrested for refusing to leave a property after the homeowner repeatedly asked him to. Deputies were called to a home on Cortez Court near Wisteria Street after the homeowner complained. The man was taken into custody.
