A County Supervisor FROM CV

In the 10/4/2023 CV Forum Ms. Stanek-Rykoff reported on the construction of new sidewalks on Anita Ave. She reported that the success of the sidewalk improvement was accomplished by “community members assisting in the grant-writing efforts” This proves that efforts of CV citizens can produce results in the face of negligent attention by Alameda County Public Works. Carrying that result further, I would propose that our (Castro Valley) Alameda County Supervisor be a Castro Valley resident. Who else would give strong attention and representation to the needs of Castro Valley? Beware of carpetbaggers.
