Are We Any Better Off?

It amuses me to read so many letters to the Forum trying to persuade us to vote one way or the other.
I have but one question: Do any of you honestly believe this state, and the three largest cities in California, SF, Oakland and LA, are better off now than we were 20 years ago?
Guess which party has been in power in both state and local government. Democrats.
So, if you’re content with high crime, high taxes and filthy streets, please, continue to vote Democrat.
The rest of us would prefer a change in policy. That will only happen by voting Republican.
