CV Teachers Endorse Kusiak for School Board

Castro Valley Teachers Association has endorsed Mike Kusiak for re-election to the Castro Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees. Teachers are impressed with his leadership, dedication and collaborative approach.

A father of two with a long career in higher education, Kusiak helped lead Measure G bond measure to success in 2016, providing $123 for facilities improvements in the district’s 15 schools. He has served on the school board since winning office in 2020.

In addition, both Castro Valley teachers and California Teachers Association endorsed Kamala Harris for president, Adam Schiff for U.S. Senate, and Liz Ortega for Assembly.

On statewide ballot measures, teachers recommend:

Yes on Prop. 2 (K-12 schools construction bond)

Yes on Prop. 3 (right to marriage)

Yes on Prop. 4 (wildfire prevention bond)

Yes on Prop. 5 (housing and public infrastructure)

Yes on Prop. 6 (eliminate involuntary servitude for incarcerated persons)

Yes on Prop. 32 (increase minimum wage)

Thanks for considering our recommendations and please remember to vote.
