I Still Believe in This Democracy

Dear Editor,

In regards to a response to Robert Thomas. Dems don’t want to ban guns, regulate and license them, yes. My brother and sister in law are ATF agents and have told me that they have been mandated not to digitize gun ownership records. They are all in a building and must be accessed by looking them up in person or by request.
As to the previous President in that letter, things were hunky dory all right. Declaring Covid a hoax and asking if dangerous remedies like light and bleach would sort it out. I remember the refrigerated morgues outside of hospitals and the fact that he gutted our public health system ahead of the pandemic.
VP Joe Biden made an appearance at my worksite in Oakland. He was with the mayor and others to promote Power Pathways which recruited veterans to work in the utility industry and receive training while doing the work.
I won’t be telling anyone who to or not to vote for. I still believe in this democracy and what it stands for.
