Let Me See If I Have This Right

Let me see if I have this right:

1. A convicted rapist who has attempted to overthrow our democracy, stole from our government, and is convicted of fraud, is running for president of the United States and politicians and voters are lining up on bended knee to support this person.
2. The third in line to the presidency (the Speaker of the House) believes that the Earth is 6,000 years old, and that humans and dinosaurs roamed the Earth together.

Lovely. Is it any wonder that people have lost faith in our government? What are voters thinking? Perhaps, they are not thinking.
