Letter Writer Both Rude and Sexist

I would hope that the Forum would be a bit more careful with the letters they print.

There is no doubt that Mr. Gayle was both rude and sexist in his comment that I would not complain if the issue was womens rights. Mr. Gayle has no idea how I stand on that, or any other issue before us.

Frankly, I don't care if the subject is womens rights, civil rights, the 1st or the 2nd Amendment, I don't believe any one persons opinion should be shoved down our throat. And, I might add, that I wrote my letter to the Forum only after four guest in my home, two of whom are very much anti guns said of Mr. Thomas, "enough is enough".

I can see that you Mr.Gayle, agree that the 2nd Amendment should be abolished. And that's just fine. Just respect my opinion as I will yours and please, the next time a woman disagrees with you, don't make a fool of yourself by bringing up womens rights.
