Open Letter to Billy Bradford

I see you are upset that 3 Crosses/Neighbor church refused to marry a Gay couple, yet they say they welcome everybody.  That’s true.  They welcome everybody.  However, as a church who follows Jesus Christ’s teachings, gay marriage is not allowed.  Kudos to 3 Crosses!  They stand by what they preach.  That doesn’t mean you are not allowed to worship there, you just can’t change their teachings!  You said another Christian church married this same couple.  The other “Christian” church that performed that marriage ceremony may call themselves “Christian” but are not abiding by Judaeo Christian principles!  “Shopping” around for anything is legal  It has been around for a long time.  It doesn’t always mean it’s right.  Principles that were wrong yesterday still are today and will be the same in the future!

I know a “straight” couple who tried to get married at 3 Crosses but were refused because they were living together.  Not until they separated for a time were they allowed to be married there.

When it comes to moral principles, you don’t change with modern times.
