Open letter to the Castro Valley Post Office

You, for YEARS, provided 3 USPS Snorkel Mailboxes at your drive-thru lane. You removed them because, you said, to protect our security; presumably when they were overstuffed and envelopes could have been removed. The replacement boxes placed too far for anyone to reach from a vehicle occasioned LOTS of complaints. So you installed one with a snorkel - STILL too far away for most folks to reach. Here's an idea: restore all 3 snorkel boxes ( at an accessible distance) and empty them more often!
