Opinions Can Vary but Facts Cannot
1) Mr. Kitson, the definition of DEI is not “racist dog whistle”. Wikipedia defines it as “An organizational framework which seek to promote the fair treatment and full participation of all people”. A noble goal, but the exact means of doing so are varied and - as they say - “The devil is in the details”.
2) You are correct in stating that I (and you as well) do not know (all of) Mr. Biden’s selection criteria. I do know - for a fact - that his criteria excluded many (otherwise) qualified candidates based on gender because he openly declared it. Your wishful thinking that the best four just happened to be female is speculative and seems unjustified by any facts. Can you name one prospective VP candidate he interviewed that was male?
3) Once again, I have NEVER said Kamala Harris was unqualified. What I have said is that other candidates who were equally (and possibly more) qualified were excluded from the selection process.
4) Opinions can vary but facts cannot. If any of my facts above are wrong please state which and cite evidence as well. Otherwise, accept them as correct and let’s move on.
