Parents Not the State

The bill AB957 has passed but is waiting for Governor Newson to sign into law! The bill, if it becomes law, allows 12 year olds to decide to leave their parents and become wards of the State. It allows judges to remove custody from the parent who does not affirm their child's gender identity during a family court custody dispute. The State, and not the parents, will be raising the child.

AB1078 gives power to the State to control school boards! If parents object to books as age inappropriate and want the school board to remove them, the school board will not be able to remove them, as it will be the State's decision and not the parents!

Call Governor Newson (916-445-2841) or email: contact the Governor-Gavin Newsom-CA.gov and tell him you do not want these bills signed into law. These are our children and we are parents who want to raise them-not the State!
