Response to Billy Bradford

Dear Editor,

In true form Billy Bradford is spewing his hate at the Boys Scouts, Catholics and anyone who thinks differently from him. Billy states that taking kids to Church and letting them listen to a man wearing a gown and reading from a book is a bad idea. I’m not Catholic but I can assure Billy that Priests do not wear gowns, they wear Ceremonial Robes called “Vestments”. Does Billy not realize that Drag Queens wear gowns and want to read out of books to children or is he expressing a prejudice against all men who are not Drag Queens? Fact is that LGBTQ people are only 1.2% to 6.8% of the population depending on where they live in the world and this small group will continue to bully those not sharing their point of view by claiming hate and intimidation as loudly as they can. Teach kids to be kind to others and Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff!
