This Patriot Considers Trump a Criminal Insurrectionist
Not only did Mr. Trump encourage his supporters to stop the certification of a valid vote in Congress, inciting them with lies about a tainted election, but he continues to mischaracterize as “stolen,” an election he lost by more than seven million votes.
Last week Claudia Antonucci cited a number of “facts” about Trump that are straight from the Trump campaign, most are unverifiable, like the claim of 28,000 Mexican soldiers policing the border, but some are outright fiction. The worst of these fictions was a claim that Trump paid down the national debt.
When Trump took office, the national debt was a little under $20 trillion. At the end of four years, when he was turned out of office by the American voters, the national debt was almost $28 trillion. Under his administration the national debt increased by $7.8 trillion dollars, including about $2 trillion that resulted from his tax giveaway to the wealthy.
I’m no big fan of Joe Biden, but Trump is dangerous, supported by white supremacists and haters of all kinds who long for a bygone era when the only faces you saw on TV were white, and the only language you heard was English.
America is bigger than that now and we are all better for it.
