Vandalism at Holy Cross Church

Dear Editor,

It is with a heavy heart and deep concern that I report that Holy Cross Episcopal Church on Heyer and Center streets has been vandalized several times in the last few months. Holy Cross is a place of love where ALL are welcome. We share our love with our local community in many ways. We offer a food pantry at the upper parking lot, open 24/7. We support the local charities of FESCO, Ruby’s Place, and the Alameda County Food Bank. We package up caring bags with items to assist the homeless. We also partner with other faith traditions via the Eden Area Interfaith Council. Our parish participates in the annual Gay Pride Event. Holy Cross is the place that allows us to gather and unite in our efforts to spread love.

If you see any questionable activity on our church property, please contact the Alameda County Sheriff at (510) 667-7721. We would appreciate your help.
