What Took So Long?
Editor,
On Feb 1, I sent a letter to you stating that the Alameda County Board of Supervisors had committed a disservice to county residents by not getting FEMA involved to provide some relief to flood victims. This problem was finally fixed as of Feb. 3, when Alameda was at long last added to the list of California Counties eligible for relief. I do wonder what took so long.
