CVHS Boys JV Soccer

Our Athletes of the Week are the Castro Valley High School Boys Junior Varsity Soccer team, which won its home conference game against Piedmont High School by a score of 3-0 on Tuesday, January 9.

The Trojans scored all three goals in the second half behind Freshman Jordan Bravo and Sophmores Saulius Staraitis and Nikita Baranov. Freshmen Ali Jandro El Sheikh and Jayden Palominos provided assists in two of those goals. The Piedmont Highlanders took several shots on goal but were denied These two teams will have a rematch at Piedmont’s field on January 25.

Castro Valley JV Boys are 6-2 overall and 1-1 in the league following a 1-0 loss to Bishop O’Dowd on Thursday, January 11. The Trojans are at home today against the Berkeley High School Yellowjackets before traveling to San Leandro High School to take on the Pirates on Friday.
