Helping Fight World Hunger

This past Sunday, many Our Lady of Grace families spent their morning volunteering with the non-profit Kids Against Hunger. This amazing organization packages and ships highly nutritious/life-saving meals, to starving and malnourished children in developing countries and in disaster situations, as well as to children in need in the United States. Our group of around 60 individuals (consisting of OLG students, staff, parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and friends) packaged more than 7500 meals that will be sent this week to Haiti. We were so proud of the students, ranging between TK - 5th grade, who took their responsibility of packaging the food very seriously, as they understood this food would help feed hungry children in another part of the world.
