Life Lesson Lived at Recent Basketball Game

A Life Lesson was witnessed by all present at the November 28 Varsity Basketball Game between host Redwood Christian High School and visiting Fremont Christian High School. They have played each other for the past fifty years.

The Life Lesson opportunity presented itself when Redwood’s Nehemiah Mitchell, a 10th grader, went down so hard that it was believed he may have broken his ankle.  Everyone present knew it could be serious.   In response, both teams came together to pray for Nehemiah and his injury illustrating that people are more important than athletic competition.

Nehemiah was transported to Kaiser San Leandro Emergency where, after an examination and  X-rays, the doctors reported that Nehemiah had not broken his ankle but had a very bad sprain.

What a great Life Lesson for all present.
