TONIGHT, February 7, 2024: The LAB: featuring The Black Excellence @ The Cellar at Castro Valley Marketplace
Join us for a special evening as we bring our LAB to the public. The Lab is a monthly gathering that allows songwriters and poets to workshop and collaborate on new and existing pieces through connection, collaboration and brief performances, in front of and among friends.This month we invite you all! Come spend the evening with a special performance from Black Excellence Band and then hear from local artists in the community as they share pieces they're working on. Continue the musical adventure with Smalltown Society as we take charge of The Chabot Secret Screen, for the second time, continuing our monthly celebration of music and art in film! This month's film is describe as "a joyous expression of art, empathy, and compassion.” If you enjoy the likes of David Byrne and Spike Lee you will not want to miss this!
