Driving While Intoxicated

Monday, November 7: at 2:44 a.m., Sheriff's deputies pulled over and arrested a 24-year-old man from Castro Valley on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The man was traveling on Ravenwood Place near Center Street when deputies observed him swerving in traffic. The man failed his field sobriety test and was taken into custody.

 

Contempt of Court

Sunday, November 6: at 9:16 a.m., a 59-year-old man from Castro Valley was arrested as part of a warrant issued for his capture. The man was in violation of parole stemming from a court-issued restraining order. Deputies served the warrant outside a drug store on Castro Valley Boulevard near Yeandle Avenue. The man was taken to Santa Rita Jail.

 

Busted for Methamphetamine Drugs

Sunday, November 6: at 12:57 a.m., deputies arrested a 24-year-old man with no permanent residence on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine drugs and related drug paraphernalia. The man was hanging out in front of a business on Grove Way near Redwood Road when deputies stopped him for questioning and discovered his stash. Deputies took the man into custody.

 

Shoplifter Caught

Saturday, November 5: at 8:53 p.m., a 26-year-old man from Castro Valley was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting from a drug store on Castro Valley Boulevard near Yeandle Avenue. Deputies were called to the scene after store security stopped the man in the parking lot. The man was also found with illegal drug paraphernalia in his pockets. Deputies took him into custody.

 

Driving Without a Valid License

Friday, November 4: at 10:55 a.m., deputies pulled over and arrested a 24-year-old woman from Castro Valley on suspicion of driving without a valid license. The woman was traveling on Grove Way near Redwood Road when deputies stopped her for a traffic violation. Deputies took the woman into custody.

 

Wanted Woman Arrested

Friday, November 4: at 3:21 p.m., a 32-year-old woman with no permanent residence was arrested as part of a warrant issued for her capture. Deputies served the warrant outside a motel on East Castro Valley Boulevard near Independent School Road. The woman had been previously convicted of robbery and assault with intent to cause great bodily injury. Deputies took the woman to Santa Rita Jail.

 

Warrant Served

Wednesday, November 2: at 2:53 a.m., deputies arrested a 51-year-old man from Castro Valley as part of a warrant issued for his capture. The man was previously convicted of obstructing a business and was in violation of his probation. Deputies made a positive ID on the man outside a business on Castro Valley Boulevard near Stanton Avenue and took him to Santa Rita Jail.

 

Brought His Own Drugs to the Hospital

Tuesday, November 1: at 12:56 a.m., a 41-year-old man with no permanent residence was arrested on suspicion of possession of illegal narcotics and related drug paraphernalia. Deputies were dispatched to Eden Medical Center on Lake Chabot Road after hospital security reported the man was seeking treatment but had the drugs in his possession. The man was taken into custody.
