CALL FOR LOCAL TALENT:

Eden Night Live is back! The pop-up festival and marketplace, which drew over 10,000 attendees in the past, is returning. Local food vendors, artists, performers, and small businesses will gather at the Hayward Adult School parking lot in front of the brand-new Sunset Futsal Courts to create a fun and safe space for all ages to enjoy. A rotating list of nonprofits, entrepreneurs, entertainers, County agencies, and DSAL departments will host booths and share resources.

Eden Night Live is a great opportunity for local DJs and performers to showcase their skills and for local vendors to promote their businesses. Email ecortez@acdsal.org to learn more.

The Eden Night Live pop-up festival and marketplace provides a safe and welcoming space for families and individuals of all ages to socialize and have fun. This series of events is part of a groundbreaking “Community Capitals Public Safety” initiative developed by the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office and Deputy Sheriffs’ Activities League based on an economic model that describes the activities and connections needed for communities to thrive. The initiative emphasizes sustained and coordinated investments in the seven community capitals: natural, cultural, human, social, political, financial, and built.

By fostering a sense of community and connection, events like Eden Night Live help to create trust between law enforcement and the community, and build a healthier, safer place where everyone can thrive.
