The Friends of San Leandro Library’s two-day Fall Book Sale will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 1 and 2, at the Main Library, 300 Estudillo Avenue in San Leandro.
In addition to its normal array of outstanding fiction, history, science, books for children, DVDs and CDs – all available at rock-bottom prices – the Friends will introduce their High Value and Rare collection including a first edition “Dune” signed by author Frank Herbert, plus signed first-editions by Jimmy Carter, Joe Montana, Henry Kissinger and many others.
Saturday sale hours, from 9-11 a.m., are held for members of the Friends of the Library, and then open to the public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday it’s the All-Day $3-a-Bag Sale open to everyone from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
Come early for best selection. All proceeds benefit the San Leandro Library’s programs and services.
