Join us for the final summer concert featuring Howell Devine at the Castro Valley Library on Thursday, June 29 at 6:30 pm.

Triple threat talent, Joshua Howell (guitar, harmonica, vocals) and percussion savant, Pete Devine (drums, washboard), plus veteran upright bassist, Joe Kyle Jr. deftly mix Delta/Country Blues with wildly syncopated rhythms to create a rollicking present-day sound rooted in early blues. Their music stands in stark contrast to the typical blues heard in bars these days and would more likely be shaking the floors of a Southern juke joint 70 years ago.

No Registration Required. Bring your lawn chairs…bring the family…bring a picnic!

Because this is an outdoor event, automobile parking will be limited at the library. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on Alameda County Library property.
