Lakeside Laps at Lake Chabot Regional Park

Calling all runners, walkers, hikers, and nature enthusiasts! It’s time to lace up your running shoes and hit the trails at the Regional Parks Foundation’s Lakeside Laps trail running and walking event on July 20 at Lake Chabot Regional Park. Lakeside Laps fundraising event, hosted by the Regional Parks Foundation in partnership with Brazen Racing Sports & Community, includes a fun Finish Line Festival for participants and their families.

Lakeside Laps is a Regional Parks Foundation fundraiser in celebration of the East Bay Regional Park District’s 90th Anniversary, with proceeds going to support East Bay Regional Parks programs. The Foundation supports the Park District through fundraising to provide universal access, environmental stewardship, education and recreation programs, and the acquisition of parklands.

Lakeside Laps is more than a race—it's a celebration of community, friendship, and the shared love of outdoor adventure. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out on your fitness journey, Lakeside Laps offers participants a race for every fitness level. The family-friendly Trout Trot 5K is a good opportunity for first-time runners and families to participate in a fun and healthy outdoor activity together. Choose your distance and prepare for an unforgettable journey! Register today for the Trout Trot 5K, 10K, or half marathon – all fitness levels are welcome.

The Finish Line Festival will feature snacks, vendors, photo walls, awards, and more. Food and beverages provided by Equator Coffee, Harmless Harvest, and Drake’s Brewing Company.
