Paying for College with Scholarships
at Castro Valley Library
Join us as Becca demystifies the complex network and application processes related to scholarships for college and prepares you for the tuition ahead. Learn how to approach the scholarship search process, and what the realistic timeline looks like if you or your student plans Fall enrollment. Becca teaches the “5-click strategy” of digging through identified websites with intention. Participants will leave this interactive workshop with a categorized list of search terms for themselves, a 3 step-process for online searches, and a better sense of how public institutions, private donors, and large organizations advertise scholarship opportunities.
