"Rebel Girl" Elizabeth Hurley Flynn and Her Fight for Social Justice

Join U. S. Women’s History Professor Emerita Jane Wolford as she takes us on a journey through Flynn’s life and times. Elizabeth Gurley Flynn is best known for her labor activism but she was also involved in the fight for women's rights. IWW organizer, American Communist Party member and founding member of the ACLU, Flynn spent time in prison for her labor activism but never backed down. Join us and learn more about her fascinating life.
