Regular Government Meetings

CVSan Recycles Day & Compost Give-Away

Participate in Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan)’s Recycles Day and Compost Give-Away event on Saturday, April 26th! The event will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Canyon Middle School, located at 19600 Cull Canyon Road.

CVSan residents and businesses are invited to pick up three 1-cubic foot bags of compost, and drop off the following:

  • Fabric shopping bags for reuse at food banks

  • Mixed-material plastic (clean and empty chip bags, granola bar wrappers, etc.)

  • Textiles

  • Sensitive documents for shredding

  • E-Waste

Appointments will be required to participate. Appointment registration is open from March 24th at 3:00 p.m. until April 23rd. Appointments are limited.

CV / Eden Area Chamber Mixer & Fundraiser

Join our showcase in partnership with the Deputy Sheriff Activities League to exhibit Dig Deep Farms Food Hub kitchen, Food Recovery Programs and Food Vendors. Networking Mixers are a benefit of being a Chamber member. These events allow you to network and grow your business and are FREE for members to attend. Non-members must pay to attend mixers.  Pre-register in advance to enter a special drawing this night.  If you would like to join the Chamber, don't hesitate to contact us in advance at info@castrovalleychamber.com. Chamber members are always welcomed to promote their business by bringing a raffle prize. You will have the opportunity to announce your business and how we can support your business.
