Building Hope for Mental Health
Initiating a conversation about mental health might feel uncomfortable, but with each discussion, Z-Cares chips away at stigma, dismantle barriers, and provide crucial support to those closest to us during their most challenging times. We acknowledge that mental health is not solely an individual responsibility but a reflection of community awareness and involvement. The simplest and most impactful way to support someone grappling with a mental health challenge is to extend a hand and assure them you're there.
In this full length independent documentary, we follow four youth, (one attended CVUSD Schools), struggling with mental health as they change their journey from a sense of despair to find their pathway to hope.
We hope you will join CVUSD and Z-Cares on February 6th. Please use the link below to register for this free event.

Participate in CVUSD’s Transition to By-Trustee Area Election System
On April 26, 2023, the District initiated the process of transitioning the method by which the Board of Trustees are elected. Under the new proposed system, candidates will be elected by “trustee areas.” This means only voters within a given trustee area can vote for candidates who reside within that same area. The intent of this proposed system is to offer greater opportunities for Board representation for candidates that might not otherwise be elected under an at-large system.
You’re invited to participate:
Post-Map Public Hearing #3 - June 28, 2023 at 6pm
The Board will vote on trustee area boundaries to immediately follow third map Public Hearing on June 28, 2023.
