Castro Valley Orchestra
Castro Valley Orchestra will present a free concert on Sunday, December 11th at 2:00PM at Castro Valley Center for the Arts, 19501 Redwood Road, Castro Valley. Works by Berlioz, Schubert, and Saint-Saens will be presented. Flautist Beverly Johnson and clarinetist MIchael WIlson will be featured. A reception will follow the concert. Masking and distance protocols will be observed.
Live Music is Back and FREE!
Castro Valley Adult and Career Education is delighted to once again offer free in-person concerts. Liven up your week, grab a friend and attend the community band concert on March 23 at 7:30. You can also spice up your Sunday afternoon with the March 27 Orchestra concert at 2pm. Both events will be held at the Castro Valley Center for the Arts. In an effort to ensure the safety of every person who attends an event at the CFA, all attendees will be required to show photo ID and proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the date of attendance. Please arrive early to account for this. Come enjoy these Castro Valley treasures!
Castro Valley Adult School Orchestra Concert- Free Winter Concert
The Castro Valley Adult School Orchestra invites you to enjoy their winter concert Sunday, Dec 5 at 2 p.m. at Castro Valley Center for the Arts. Music will include Overture to Cosi Fan Tutti, by Mozart with guest conductor Beverly Johnson. Haydn's symphony No. 103 with guest conductor Melanie Work. Orchestrated keyboard suites JS Bach/Gerrard WIlliams/Josh Cohen featuring keyboard soloist Tiffany Poon and Tchaikovsky's Overture Miniature from the Nutcracker. A reception with a Silent Auction of orchestra members’ donations will follow the concert. Turn off the TV and brighten your week with this lively event! Masks and proof of vaccination or Negative Covid Test required.
