St. Gerard Women’s Club Christmas Bake Sale
Christmas baked goods sale fundraiser for St. John’s Church in San Lornzo. There will also be trinkets and treasures, continental breakfast, raffles, religious items, miscellaneous goods and lots of fun. It will all begin this Saturday, Dec. 7 from 4pm to 6pm and again on Sunday, Dec. 8 from 8am to 4pm. St. John’s Community Meeting Room (264 East Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo).

This Christmas season, Redwood Chapel is inviting community members to immerse themselves in the enchanting production, “The Promise of Christmas.”
Step onto a stage that will span through time, from that little Bethlehem town long ago, to our present day. Experience how amidst the echoes of history, as people experience challenges and carry the weight of pain and struggles, one thing remains constant: the comforting promise of Christmas, offering solace to every heart.
“The Promise of Christmas” radiates hope, affirming that amid life's battles, strength and grace can be found in the enduring promises of Christ. This captivating show encapsulates the very essence of Christmas—a timeless message that resonates through the ages.
Mark your calendar for Friday, December 15, and Saturday, December 16, at 7 pm and embark on the transformative journey conveying the profound beauty of Christmas. Admission is free, so bring your family and friends to celebrate the promise that echoes through time—the promise of Christmas. Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with joy, reflection, and the enduring spirit of the season.
Redwood Chapel is located on 19300 Redwood Road, in the heart of Castro Valley.

Holiday Tea and Christmas Boutique
The Castro Valley United Methodist Church at 19806 Wisteria St. Castro Valley will be hosting a Holiday High Tea and Christmas Boutique on Saturday, December 3.
Reservations can be made for 11:00 am. 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm by contacting Donna Driver at ddriverdriver@yahoo.com. When requesting your reservation please provide you name, email, phone number, number of people in your party and the time you would like to reserve. The cost of the tea is $25.00 per person.
The tea will consist of a variety of teas, savory sandwiches, and deserts by Baptista Baking Company.
Vendors at the boutique will have a variety of items for sale such as handmade items, handmade cards, jewelry, pottery, scarfs, honey and products made from honey, etc.
Seating is limited so it is recommended that you make your reservations early.

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Event
SAVE THE DATE ! The Castro Village Shopping Center will have their Annual Christmas Tree lighting event Friday December 3 from 5-8 PM. The tree lighting takes place at 6 PM. Bring the family out to enjoy live music, entertainment and free photos with Santa.
