Eden Garden Club Plant Sale
Eden Garden Club is having a Plant Sale featuring vegetables, annuals, perennials, natives, trees and shrubs, seeds, pots, handicrafts, garden art and homemade treats. Eden Garden Club's Plant Pop-Up Sale
Eden Garden Club is holding a Plant Sale at Books on B from 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025, featuring a variety of garden plants and homemade treats. Eden Garden Club Meeting
The next meeting of the Eden Garden Club will be Monday, March 24, 9:30am at Faith Lutheran Church, 20080 Redwood Road in Castro Valley. The speaker,
Lawrence Lee, a former instructor in Landscape Horticulture at Merritt College will begin at 10:00am. He will give a demonstration on the basics of plant propagation, which will include making more plants through seeds, cuttings, dividing and grafting. Eden Garden Club Meeting
The next meeting of the Eden Garden Club will be Monday, November 25th at 9:30am at Faith Lutheran Church, 20080 Redwood Road in Castro Valley.
At 10:00 we will begin with Josh Rubietta of Down by the Bay Nursery. Josh will be speaking about native bulbs that will bloom in the Spring.

Eden Garden Club is having a Holiday Bazaar featuring succulents, trees, pottery, holiday gift baskets, handicrafts, homemade treats, collectibles, a variety of gift certificates, books, jewelry, housewares and storage merchandise. All proceeds benefit CVUSD and HUSD Schools that are awarded School Garden Grants.

Eden Garden Club is having a Plant Pop-Up at 20095 Mission Blvd. in Cherryland. Drop off donations between 6 AM and 9 AM.
The Plant Pop-Up opens at 10 AM to 3 PM and features veggies, herbs, annuals, perennials, berries,natives, succulents, pots and homemade baked goods.
After 3 PM schools can have any unsold plants.
Proceeds benefit School Garden Grants awarded to CVUSD and HUSD Schools.

The speaker will be Carol Dixon with a review on Monarch Butterflies and a talk about Yellow Swallow Tails. Carol has an MA in Biological Science from USC Hayward, an instructor of Biology and ecology at Chabot and Ohlone Colleges for 22 years, then 16 years at Castro Valley High School. Our program guest speaker is Rick Hatcher, Founder of Eden Urban Farms (EUF). He will talk about the importance of urban farming in the East Bay. EUF offers a living classroom for local urban farmers and provides hands-on skills training about raising chickens, beekeeping and soil management through worm compositing and mulch development.
