Regular Government Meetings

Kids Pop-Up Park

Collaboration with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office
Join us for a Kids Pop-Up Park at the Castro Valley Library! The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) will bring their rock-wall and ACSO patrol cars will be displayed. There will be carnival games, prizes and the Hayward Animal Shelter will have an adoption event.
No Registration Required
Because this is an outdoor event, automobile parking will be limited at the library. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on Alameda County Library property. Hot Pawgust Nights Adoption Event
One of Hayward Animal Shelter’s largest events of the year returns this Saturday, August 27 from 11 am to 5 pm. Their much anticipated Hot Pawgust Nights Car Show Fundraiser features live music, classic cars, raffle prizes, $20 adoptions, guest appearance of 15 year Harlem Globe Trotter, Nate Branch, who will be signing autographs and taking photos with visitors for a donation to the shelter and more! The Shelter is located at 16 Barnes Court, Hayward.
