Regular Government Meetings

Numerous programs may help reduce your health care and prescription drug costs if you meet the eligibility requirements.
At this FREE presentation, we will learn about:
• The Medicare program and its costs
• Medi-Cal and the Medicare Savings Programs
• The Low-Income Subsidy (Extra Help) for prescription drugs
• Eligibility requirements, the application processes, and the benefits

Medicare & Open Enrollment: Changes for 2024
Be prepared for Medicare’s annual enrollment! This year the enrollment period is from October 15 to December 7. At this FREE presentation by Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) of Legal Assistance for Seniors, you'll learn about:
• Changes to the Medicare Prescription Drug (Part D) Plans and Medicare Advantage (Part C) Plans for 2024
• Eligibility, costs, benefits, and changes in Medicare Parts A and B
• Options for supplementing Medicare and getting help with medical costs (including the Extra Help program)
