In Full Swing's Spring Concert
Please join us at the Castro Valley Library on Sunday, April 23, from 2:00-4:00 for the return of In Full Swing's Spring Concert. Enjoy live, big-band music at the library! A local Bay Area favorite, “In Full Swing,” is a 20-piece swinging big-band and vocalist. You’ll want to get up and dance! Registration is required at www.aclibrary.org.

Free Community Band Concert
Has the wet weather been getting you down?. Mark your calendars and invite your friends for a free winter concert put on by Castro Valley Adult & Career Education. On March 29 at 7:30 pm Kathy Maier will lead the Castro Valley Community Band in a concert called "Wet, Wild and Wonderful." The concert is FREE and at the Castro Valley Center for the Arts. Come out and celebrate the coming of Spring!

The 40-member Hayward Municipal Band, under the direction of Kathy Morelli Maier, will continue its Summer Concert season at 2:30 on the Tony Morelli Bandstand in Hayward Memorial Park, 24176 Mission Blvd. behind the Hayward Plunge. Bring your family, friends, a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the FREE CONCERTS featuring classical, popular big band, jazz, musicals, Latin and more by this professional band.

The 40-member Hayward Municipal Band, under the direction of Kathy Morelli Maier, will continue its Summer Concert season at 2:30 on the Tony Morelli Bandstand in Hayward Memorial Park, 24176 Mission Blvd. behind the Hayward Plunge. Bring your family, friends, a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the FREE CONCERTS featuring classical, popular big band, jazz, musicals, Latin and more by this professional band. The band was started by two City of Hayward employees, Tony Nunes and Ed Mendonca in 1957 and has presented concerts every summer since except for 2020 due to the pandemic.
Independence Day Celebration at Meek Estate Park
After a two year hiatus, Independence Day at Meek is back! The Blues Bottle Band will brighten up the day with live music. Walk through the Meek Mansion to learn more about the family that once lived in this beautiful house as well as their place in history. Community groups and organizations look forward to sharing information and resources. Enjoy lots of fun outdoor activities, games, and crafts for the whole family in this beloved park!
