Coastal Cleanup Day at the CV Creek Trail

  • 3625 Castro Valley Boulevard Castro Valley, CA, 94546 United States (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Be part of the 40th annual Coastal Cleanup Day at the Castro Valley Creek Trail! Volunteers* will participate in a litter pickup along the creek trail and beautify the trail starting from the Castro Valley Library to Castro Valley Creek Blvd.

Volunteers meet at 3625 Castro Valley Boulevard, Castro Valley, CA 94546.

Trash from inland areas, like Castro Valley Creek, flows downstream to the coast and into the ocean. Cleaning upstream riparian areas helps prevent garbage from entering the ocean, protecting birds and other marine animals, while beautifying the environment. Yah!

This effort is part of the statewide Coastal Cleanup Day and made possible by the Alameda County Unincorporated Area Clean Water Program.

To contribute to the statewide litter count, download the Clean Swell App before you arrive and have your trash be part of the California count!

All volunteers must fill out the Coastal Commission’s online waiver and show it upon check in. Please complete the waiver in ENGLISH or SPANISH.

Questions? Please contact Jennifer Trevis at jennifer.trevis@acrcd.org

*Volunteers must be age 10 and up only for safety (even if accompanied by an adult). Volunteers age 14 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
