Prepare to be amazed!! Dahlias are blooming! The San Leandro Dahlia Society will be presenting their annual dahlia show Saturday, August 31, 11 AM - 4:30 PM and Sunday, September 1, 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM at the San Leandro Public Library, 300 Estudillo Ave. Dahlias come in a variety of sizes, shapes and colors and will amaze everyone. Dahlia Tuber Sale
For spectacular summer color, it’s time to plant those dahlias! The San Leandro Dahlia Society will hold its annual tuber and small plant sale on Saturday, May 4, 10 am- 1pm at the Milford Garden Improvement Clubhouse, 13055 Aurora Drive, San Leandro. That’s across the street from Garfield Elementary School. Tubers will sell for $7 and cuttings, small plants will sell for $9, including tax. Dahlia aficionados will be on hand to advise on planting and caring for the dahlias.. With so many varieties, there is something for everyone!! Just no blue blooms. Enjoy!
Tuber /Cutting Sale
The San Leandro Dahlia Society is able to sell more tubers and small plants! This second sale will take place on Saturday, May 13, 10 am - 12 noon. Location: 1111 Glen Dr., San Leandro. Tubers are still $6 and the small plants will be $8. Cash, check and Venmo will be accepted. The crazy weather created issues for the professional dahlia growers as well as this local group. So we have a better supply now than last month.
Tuber /Cutting Sale
The San Leandro Dahlia Society will be selling dahlia tubers and cuttings/small plants on Saturday, April 22, 11AM - 2 PM at the Mulford Garden Improvement Association Clubhouse,13055 Aurora Drive, San Leandro, (across from Garfield Elementary School). Tubers will sell for $6 while cuttings are $8 - a bargain either way!! Dahlias bloom in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. Knowledgeable helpers will be able to give you planting advice. Periodically, there will be a demonstration of planting tubers for the inexperienced grower. Come early for the best selection!

And, it’s FREE!! (parking may be $5) We will follow all Alameda County guidelines … masks are mandatory. Local exhibitors will be available to answer any questions you might have about dahlias.
