Eden Garden Club Holiday Bazaar
Eden Garden Club is having a Holiday Bazaar featuring succulents, trees, pottery, holiday gift baskets, handicrafts, homemade treats, collectibles, a variety of gift certificates, books, jewelry, housewares and storage merchandise. All proceeds benefit CVUSD and HUSD Schools that are awarded School Garden Grants.

6th Annual Day on the Greens Fundraiser
The Castro Valley Sports Foundation and Rowell Ranch Rodeo Association will be holding their 6th annual Day on the Greens fundraiser event on Saturday, September 21st, 2024 at Redwood Canyon Golf Course, 17007 Redwood Rd, Castro Valley, CA 94546. For $150 and with a 7AM check-in for an 8AM scramble start, participants will get a gift bag, golf cart, breakfast burrito and awards dinner. The net proceeds benefit local youth organizations. HAHS Fundraiser at Historic Hill and Valley Club
On Friday, September 20, 2024, the Board of Directors and staff of the Hayward Area Historical Society (HAHS) will host Casino Royale, a fundraising event at the historic Hill and Valley Club on B Street in Hayward from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. The festivities will include food and drinks, games and prizes, silent auction, single origin chocolate tasting and more, all to support the efforts of Hayward Area Historical Society in preserving the area’s history and culture.
Funds generated from this event will help HAHS to fulfill its mission to connect people, experiences, and stories, and directly support the ability to continue educational programs, K-12 classroom support, exhibitions and research services at their downtown Hayward Museum, online history resources related to our service area, and programs at two historic sites: McConaghy House and Meek Mansion. The Historical Society has been part of the unique fabric that encompasses the City of Hayward and the surrounding unincorporated areas of Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Ashland, Fairview, and Cherryland since its founding in 1956.

CV Women’s Club Annual Sale Extravaganza!
The Castro Valley Women’s Club is holding its Annual Sale Extravaganza of curated, gently used treasures. There’s something for everyone, and these items are waiting for a place in your home. Profits from this sale will benefit the Club’s Scholarship Program, awarded to Castro High Students at the end of the school year. The Castro Valley Women’s Club has contributed over $400,000 since its inception in 1947. Relay for Life Dinner and Dancing Fundraiser

Karaoke for a Cause
Plethos Productions is holding a unique fundraiser at JP’s Restaurant in Castro Valley. Support this local, volunteer-owned nonprofit theater by singing or nominating someone to sing at Karaoke for a Cause. Donations of any amount will get you or your nominee up on stage for a great night of all-ages karaoke. This is a “pay what you can” fundraiser, so that everyone who would like to support with any amount is able to participate.
Plethos Productions has a big goal this year is to raise $10,000 to support expansion in 2024, and the focus for their 7th season’s big goals: bringing on more staff, offering more scholarships to Stagecraft Camp for Kids and creating a new theatre retreat for adults. Plus Plethos has been touring local buildings in hopes of getting a dedicated space. The community is invited to help make these big dreams come true!

Golf Tournament Fundraiser
On Saturday, June 3, the VFW Post 9601 and American Legion Post 649 are having a fund-raising golf tournament at the Redwood Canyon Golf Course. The Course will be playable! Tee time is 8 am - Scramble Format/Shotgun Start. The entry fee is $140 per golfer and includes cart, quick breakfast and wrap up lunch + awards. The funds raised go to help the local Veterans organizations. Follow Up Prison Ministries Appreciation Dinner
If you are interested in sharing the message of Jesus Christ to inmates in California, please join us at 3 Crosses Church, 20600 John Drive, Castro Valley, for a fundraising dinner. The event runs between 5:30-9:00 p.m. Cost is $35 per person. In addition to dinner, the event will include praise and worship, testimony, a 50/50 raffle, and a dessert auction. Wine & Equine Fundraiser
Fundraiser Supports Local Children with Special Needs
SonRise Equestrian Foundation will be hosting its annual Wine & Equine fundraiser on September 24 at 5:30 PM at Blackhawk Country Club in Danville.
SonRise is a nonprofit organization guided by Christian-based values dedicated to improving the lives of children with special needs through therapeutic horse and ranch activities.
This year's fundraiser, "Beyond Boundaries," will celebrate the possibilities for children with special needs to go beyond the boundaries of their challenges, learning new levels of what they can achieve.
ABC7's Mike Nicco will emcee the event and there will be a live auction with Frank Hanna. The event will have dinner, games, line dancing, and a complimentary photo booth with SonRise's miniature horses, Blackie and Windy. Wine will be provided by Wente Vineyards.
The majority of SonRise's yearly funding comes from this fundraiser. SonRise provides all of its programming free of charge to any child with special needs.
Located at Brown Ranch in Pleasanton, SonRise has been serving thousands of children with special needs and their families through its free programming for more than 17 years.

Creekside Athletic Boosters Golf Tournament Fundraiser
The Grubb Team and Creekside Athletic Boosters present the 2022 Golf Tournament Fundraiser. The Event will be held this Sunday, August 28 at Redwood Canyon Golf Course, 17007 Redwood Road, Castro Valley. Check in begins at 7 a.m. / Shotgun start at 8 am Includes breakfast and 18 holes of golf and games, followed by a Mexican buffet lunch and prizes. Annual Bocce Tournament
On July 16th, the Castro Valley Bocce Group will conducting their annual Bocce Tournament, a fundraiser for the George Mark Children’s House. There are still openings for two teams, if you would like to enter a four person team for a $200.00 donation, (tax deductible) all proceeds will go to the George Mark Children’s House. FESCO Shuffle Walkathon
FESCO Family Shelter will hold its 25th Annual FESCO Shuffle (Walkathon), Saturday, June 11th, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Moreau Catholic High School, 27170 Mission Blvd., Hayward. The Shuffle will take place at Moreau’s track, with lunch at tables by the track. Parking available behind the school. The morning includes registration at 8, opening ceremonies, the Walk at 10, lunch at 11 with a raffle and prizes, and a closing ceremony at noon. There will be a Kid Zone during the Walk, and Taiko Drummers and a band will entertain the crowd. The Shuffle benefits FESCO, the Family Emergency Shelter Coalition in Hayward, a non-profit which has worked with homeless families with children for 35 years.
