Castro Valley Library and Rubicon Programs Job and Resource Fair
The Castro Valley Library and Rubicon Programs will hold a Job Fair at the library on Thursday, October 3rd from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Come learn about and meet with many different employers and local community resources. The following organizations and MORE will be present:

Job Lab at CV Library
Beginning Monday, April 10, 2023, the Castro Valley Library is re-opening its popular Job Lab offering one-on-one help for jobseekers. Job Lab will be open every Monday from 12 to 2 pm.
Job Lab provides a quiet space for job seekers to use the library's laptops to work on employment-related tasks. Internet access is available as well as Microsoft Office 2016.
During this open lab time, you can:
• Update or create a results oriented resume
• Learn about LinkedIn
• Search for jobs online & through agencies
• Improve your interview skills
• Research competitive salary information
• Take practice tests for professional exams
• Explore a new career
• Access library databases to build new work skills
• Use the computers and printer for other employment-related needs
Experienced volunteers will be on hand to help those seeking employment with resumes, job searches, online applications and a wide range of other employment related activities. Use of computers and personal assistance is available on a walk-in basis.
