Touch-A-Truck
The Hayward Area Recreation and Parks District is having a FREE event at the San Lorenzo Community Park on August 17 from 1PM - 3PM. Touch-A-truck is a hands-on family event that allows children to explore a variety of vehicles up close. From public service emergency vehicles and fire trucks to police cars and utility trucks, kids have the chance to honk horns, push buttons, and so much more!. Kid Gardener: Plants
Youth and their families are invited to join Compost Gal Lori Caldwell to learn about different types of plants, how plants make their own food, and their role in the ecosystem. There is a take home project for this class. Your child may get dirty. Please plan accordingly. Best suited for ages 5-13.
