San Leandro Garden Club Plant Sale
On November 8 & 9 the San Leandro Garden Club will be selling plants and previously loved jewelry at the Alta Mira Bazaar, 561 Lafayette Ave, San Leandro. Friday is from 10 am to 4 pm and Saturday is 10am to 3pm. Please come to see our selections.

Succulent Containers at CV Library
Working with Compost Gal Lori Caldwell, participants will learn about caring for succulents indoors and out, propagating succulents and other plants, then use cuttings to design their own terrariums. Please feel free to bring cuttings from home to share. Bring your own small container or use one of ours. Castro Valley Library is a branch of the Alameda County Library system. The library is located at 3600 Norbridge Avenue and is wheelchair accessible. Gardening Series: Eat What You Grow
Join us at the Castro Valley Library on Saturday, May 13, from 2:00-4:00. We'll be hearing from Lori Caldwell, Compost Gal, and learning about topics such as crop rotation, seeds vs. starts, soil fertility, and plant succession, transplanting seedlings, watering/irrigation, and the best crops for your garden.
