Regular Government Meetings
• Castro Valley Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) generally meets on land-use issues at 6 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month, and holds general purpose meetings at 6 p.m. on most 3rd Mondays. Meetings are currently virtual at 6 p.m. For agenda, visit: acgov.org/bc/cvmac

LWV “Meet Your Electeds” In-Person Event
The League of Women Voters of the Eden Area (LWVEA) invites you to a free event called “Meet Your Electeds,” to be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 5:30-7:30pm. This event will be held at the Council Chambers of Hayward City Hall, 777 B St., Hayward, CA 94541.
The League has invited elected officials from Hayward, San Leandro, Castro Valley, and San Lorenzo to the event. Anyone is welcome at the event, but registration is requested and space is limited. Please register using this link: https://bit.ly/LWVEA-Meet-The-Elected-Mar16
Light refreshments will be served. We will hear from some of the newly elected officials. The League will also be celebrating International Women’s Day at the event.

Wine & Liberty Celebration
The Libertarian Party of Alameda County's 16th Annual Wine & Liberty Celebration will be held Sunday, October 2nd, 1-4pm at Westover Winery,34329 Palomares Rd., Castro Valley. Come enjoy lunch and sample wines under shady oaks. Well behaved dogs welcomed. There will be a raffle and an auction. Hayward City Council candidate, Michael Lema, will be there to meet with voters. Free Candidate Forums
The League of Women Voters Alameda County will be conducting two free candidate forums featuring candidates for Alameda County District Attorney, and Board of Supervisors District 3, on Monday, September 19, 2022. The meetings will be held virtually over Zoom.
The District Attorney (DC) Candidate Forum will be held at 6 PM. Candidates for the DA runoff election are Pamela Price and Terry Wiley. The Board of Supervisors (BOS) District 3 candidate forum will be held at 7 PM. Candidates for the BOS District 3 runoff election are Lena Tam and Rebecca Kaplan.
Registration is required for these Candidate Forums. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting and how to submit questions. Registered participants may submit questions in advance for these candidate forums. Questions will not be received during the forums.
