“Day on the Greens” Golf Tournament

The Castro Valley Sports Foundation and Rowell Ranch Rodeo will host its 6th Annual “Day on the Greens” Golf Tournament on September 16 at the Redwood Canyon Golf Course.  All profits are invested back into the community supporting local and community organizations.  

The Castro Valley Sports Foundation (CVSF) was founded in 2002 as a non-profit corporation to provide support for youth sports and athletics in Castro Valley.  Since it’s inception CVSF has donated more than $300,000 to Castro Valley High School and local youth athletic teams.

Celebrating over 100 years, the Rowell Ranch Rodeo has been active in the community, donating proceeds to support local non-profit and charitable organizations as well as presenting multiple scholarships.  

The day begins with a 7:00am check-in with 8:00am shotgun start with the final event of the day being an awards luncheon and silent auction.   Cost is $150 per person or $550 for a foursome.  There is room for the first 144 golfers who register!

Creekside Boosters Golf Tournament

The Athletic Booster Club for Creekside Middle School is planning its third annual Golf Tournament fundraiser to be held on Sunday, August 20, (Shotgun Start: 8:00am) at Redwood Canyon Golf Course in Castro Valley. Previous year’s tournaments were a huge success and the Boosters hope this event continues to be one the entire community looks forward to participating in. Your participation is needed and so very much appreciated!

The mission of the Creekside Athletic Boosters is to support the advancement of athletic education at Creekside Middle School. The Boosters provide financial support for officiating and referees, tournament entrance fees, field & gym maintenance, equipment, uniforms, first aid kits, and more. The Boosters not only host this event, but also the annual flag football Battle of the Valley, Wrestling Tournament, and athletics banquet to celebrate our amazing student athletes. 

The Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, EIN 36-4712898. We have many different sponsorship levels available (please see attached), and hope you will participate in what is expected to be a wonderful event. Last year these sponsorship opportunities filled up quickly.

$125 Entrance Fee
Includes breakfast and 18 holes of golf and games, followed by a Mexican buffet lunch and prizes.

Ken Martin Memorial Bocce Tournament

The Castro Valley Bocce Group will host its annual Ken Martin Memorial Bocce Tournament at Adobe Park in Castro Valley on Saturday, June 17th. The event will be sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the George Mark Children’s House https://georgemark.org/, which focuses on quality of life and continuity of care for children with illnesses that modern healthcare cannot yet cure, or for those who have complex, chronic medical conditions. Annual Bocce Tournament

On July 16th, the Castro Valley Bocce Group will conducting their annual Bocce Tournament, a fundraiser for the George Mark Children’s House. There are still openings for two teams, if you would like to enter a four person team for a $200.00 donation, (tax deductible) all proceeds will go to the George Mark Children’s House.
