California is ‘Progressive’

All of this back and forth Trump vs. Biden is nonsense.
California is a “progressive” state. Or, another way of saying, this state is so far to the left, voters aren’t even open minded enough to listen to a republican.
I used to think “progressive” meant progress. What kind of progress is made when losing money? Or, how about running a state with a record deficit?
And, progressives (more like liberal-socialist) believe corporations such as Safeway have no right to shut down stores that are losing money. Ridiculous.
As a kid, I had a lemonade stand. But my mom showed me after expenses, I was actually losing money. A valuable lesson. Yet today, progressives probably wouldn’t allow my mom and I to shut down for, “you’re providing a service to our community”.
Sad just how out of touch, how far left this state, this country has gone.
