It’s Not Dead Until It’s Dead

EBMUD has put the Lake Chabot Road Quarry Project “on hold.” HOWEVER, it has NOT been terminated. It is not “off the table.” The risk remains that EBMUD can easily “resurrect” the project in hopes that, if they wait awhile, we will go away and leave them alone. We are not done and we are not going anywhere. Our next move is to get as many folks as we can to the upcoming Castro Valley Municipal Advisory Council (Castro Valley MAC) meeting on Monday May 15th at 6pm at the Castro Valley Library (3600 Norbridge Ave). Although the Lake Chabot Road project is not on the CVMAC agenda we WILL BE THERE and will address the Council during the public comment period. Please join us. This project cannot go forward.
